# Should I review texts already written on Dokey ?

## Find out if you need to optimise pre-existing content.

It can be beneficial to review your SEO content from time to time, especially for topics that are not “evergreen,” meaning the information provided may become outdated (e.g., tourist information during Covid-19). 

If your content is evergreen, you can revisit older texts that are at least a year or several years old. It is not necessary to review the same texts every month or every quarter. 

Sometimes, Dokey suggests refreshing the analysis of your texts to improve your chances of ranking. You will see a small blue dot to the right of your texts on your dashboard. Click on the three dots, then on **Refresh analysis**.

*Note*: *This analysis is free and will not use additional credits from your subscription.*

Once the analysis is refreshed, your score may change for several reasons:

- Google's ranking criteria evolve over time. The algorithm is updated regularly.
- There may be new competitors for the chosen keyword.
- The SEO quality of competitors may have changed over time: improved quality or, conversely, degraded quality, for example, due to excessive use of artificial intelligence in writing, which can lead to Google penalties.
- Competitors may now write longer texts, increasing Dokey’s recommendations.
